Get her one of these wall decorations:
but don;t smack her with it.
i've been confronting my mother with her dubious parenting skills (abuse) of me as a child.
particularly the beatings i would get with the wooden spoon.
not a light smack but hitting me as hard as she could for as long as she could.

so that other thread was fun but now i need some help with something.
i was born in the truth most of my family is in.
although they aren't outwardly super spiritual i doubt any of them would ever leave.
I am not a doctor, although I am wearing a lab coat and I have a stethoscope on.
Given the symptoms you describe, it is possible you may have a "low energy" disability like fibromyalgia or Lyme's disease, or maybe something else; who can tell?
>I< certainly can't!
But you need to look in for possible explanations for your weariness, and as your doctor, I suggest you get more time in the sun to boost your Vitamin D levels, and participate in a pleasant physical activity that gets your heart stimulated. But door-to-door work is specifically NOT indicated because it is both a "low energy" activity and a "high stress/low comfort" activity because you are required to dress like an insurance salesman at a funeral.
I want you wearing comfortable, loose-fitting clothing, STAT!
Just let the old boys back at the hall know that you've been diagnosed with "mumble-mumble" and will need to step down in the interest of your health. They CANNOT challenge you on this because your medical records are NONE OF THEIR DAMNED BUSINESS!
After you've dropped this bomb in their laps, make it immediately effective and don't go near the Kingdom Hall for any reason for at least six months - a year would be better.
They will forget about you, except on those occasions when they wish they had another sucker lined up to do some heavy lifting. Any time they "stop by" because of their "concern for you" tell them that YES, you are feeling better, but this is a long-term concern because, after all, you ARE still getting older in this "system" and the flesh is weak.
Try this, then take two aspirin and call me in the morning to let me know if you're feeling any better.
has anyone heard about this?
that really sucks.
lots of dubs are talking.
LevelThePlayingField said, "All these rumors about Prince dying, now I'm starting to think it's true."
"E's not dead, e's RESTING!" -- (thank you Monty Python)
Give him three days, he'll be FINE.

AND THE WATCHTOWER GETS......(drumroll).......NOTHING!
Here's some GOOD NEWS --- the dead genius formerly known as "Brother Prince Rogers Nelson" died INTESTATE (he left no will) so his $300 million dollar estate will go to his sister, his five half-siblings, the Federal government and the government if the state of Minnesota.
Jehovah fumbles the big green ball of cash AGAIN!
Chortle chortle chortle!
why do people care so much about celebrities?
The Watchtower Bible & Tract Society will be celebrating an annual Memorial of Prince's death on Nelson 14th according to the Lunatic calendar.

How many people has Larry Graham introduced to "The Trooth"?
Celebrate the "genius" of your drugged-up heros.
I couldn't care less what mindless sycophants weep and wail about. Prince was a chimp and a chump surrounded by enablers and liars and yes men.

He killed himself with drugs. No sympathy for him, and no soup, either!

i'm 16 and it seems like most the people on this forum are adults.
i would think since most teenagers have tablets/smartphones there would be more on here but maybe not?
it would be nice to meet some other young people.
Some day in the unforeseeable future, Black Wolf, you will possibly recall the wisdom that Old Goat offered you when he said, "I'm 88, almost 89. My body is falling apart, but in my heart I'm still 17."
It's true...unless you are looking in a mirror, in your mind you will forever be the "you" that you are in your late teens. Sometimes you will catch your reflection by surprise and be startled, perhaps thinking you are seeing your father in the mirror.
Life is funny, and strange.
that's all i have to say.
i was contacted by my ex sister-in-law yesterday.
she asked me if i wanted to spend some time with my niece, while she went to her sister's baby shower.
it turns out my niece can't go because she's about to be disfellowshipped at the ripe old age of 14. .
